k just finished watching Independence day and Forbidden Kingdom.. comments..

Independence Day,
PQ - Goooooood after calibration. colors are nice
AQ - not bad.. enjoyed it. just not enough detail.. lots of boom only
storyline - the type that u wouldnt mind watching again and again
extra - i cannot complete the game where u can unlock the hidden movie clip..

Forbidden Kingdom
PQ - JAWDROPPING Goood! soooo nice color! but again  have to recalibrate
AQ - dtshdma 7.1 madness~~
storyline - weak.. but i was too busy admiring pq/aq to care about storyline.. haha
extra - Wooohoo~ deleted scenes ftw!

for those of you that bought the 3 seperate potc trilogy, then sold all 3 to get the boxset, guess what.. disney now wants you to do it again.. ahahah

I still have all 3 separately. I don't get why need to rebuy the boxset, the contents all the same, bit by bit. The only different is the box!

PS: Transferred Speed Racer to my PS3 last night, my goodness, the PQ is crazy, the color I've never seen on a live-action movie before. And the audio is Dolby Digital 5.1 640Kbps, so it's almost like the BD itself already. Take that Warner, release a proper disc with lossless audio, then I will be the first to buy. It's totally got a reference PQ, and could also be a reference AQ.

hmm handshaking where? at the ps3/avr/or tv? is it common or? help~ anyone else had their bluray movie putus putus every like 20-30mins before while watching bd?

The Speedracer PQ really 6 stars lar.....but AQ a bit weak but not that bad towards middle to end....it did improved...the 1st race scene is the weakest AQ...can't feel the racing umph...man...really spoils with all those lossless Audio liao....last night I crank the volume to to -6db for the speedracer

Iron man less another USD1.15 if you use the gold box deal.
