the movie itself is not really bad actually. for a dane cook movie, he was less than an ******* in his previous movies, and he was naturally funny.
jessica alba should stick to comedies for crying out loud! she's soooo much better in them! funny, cute, just plain charming.
PQ was nice, nothing to complain, as well as AQ, clear audible dialogue.
as for Can't Hardly Wait, i'd recommend this purchase for fans only. nothing to celebrate on the PQ. it's not good nor is it bad. just an OK transfer, with grains sometime present especially the night scenes (which make up the majority of the movie during the party scenes). colors seem a bit washed out and it doesn't pop out of the screen. a bit flat i must say.
AQ for can't hardly wait was okay..the surrounds were quite active, but a bit too forced (or 'gimmicky' as mentioned in the Blu-Ray.com reviews). overall, since it's a lot of dialogue, they were clear enough..and the 90s songs were nice..with hip hop beats thumping nicely and etc.
the movie? your normal teen comedy like any other john hughes movies, but it's a nice sentimental feel for those who loved this back in the 90s.
