anyway the Dune player cannot play HD DVD? i don't consider that a hybrid yet..

when the hd dvd/ blu ray player hybrid player comes out, it's gonna be cool for those like me who have hd dvd discs lying there collecting dust..

guys, our asian ps3 can play dvd region wat???

Region 3 and region free dvds.

that is one question that i have yet to confirm the answer...i thought region A would mean it can play at least region 1 and 3 dvd...but this is not the case...so far my asian region A plays mainly region 3 and 0 (obviously)....and very small number of region 1 and (of course) none of the region 2 and 4. dont have other regions to verify.

i just received my transformers from apisgogo,and i tried the BD live function,but it says im not connected to the internet

is the PS3 not BD Live compatible?

by the time potc 4/5 comes on a home format, we'd either be on a different technology or the price of getting the whole set again on blurays just wouldnt matter anymore as our potc1-3 is already old and dingy..

hmm i wouldnt think more than a handful of us would be getting the TDK with the bike as it will cost +/- 200usd.. just check out how much the limited edition batman begin (the one with the figurine) cost on amazon.. hahaha a joke man..

anyone knows how to hard reset a PS3?..

Hard Reset procedure for the PS3 (as instructed by Sony CS).

Be sure to backup your settings/games saves by doing a System > Backup on your PS3 or you may lose your game saves! Also, this is a last resort procedure prior to exchanging/returning to sony.

1. Power Off the PS3 via the power switch in back and power back on w/switch.

2. Hold Power Button on the Front until you hear 3 beeps.

3. Then go through the initial setup and then run a full Format via System > Format. (will take approx 3 1/1 hours). You may need to have our AV cables ready if your using HDMI (in case HDMI isn't detected after initial reset).

4. Restore your backup you made prior to doing factory/hard reset (optional, if you created a backup).

Just press and hold the startup button for a few mins I think. Give it a try
