Woots, proud owner of Gainward 4870 GS. Just got it yesterday night from a forumer. Rig almost done, just left 3 more parts (mobo, psu, proc) to gao dim the whole thing.

PS: This monster is really huge, I wonder it can fit inside my casing or not =="

Finally finished installing OS and all the new hard drives. The 4870 GS is doing fine. Low noise level. The temperature is 50c (no aircond). Havent try full load temperature yet. Though it is quite silent, but sometimes the fans will make some "zeek zeeek" sound , though not frequent. Overall a goooood card. Will try benchmark score when I done moving my software over.

So far no problem for me. Using XP and everything works fine. Just now while playing Warhammer Online, suddenly the whole screen turns dark and then just hang there. But after restart then no okay already. Hopefully this problem wont happen again ==". Dont know whether is it the GC too heat up or what. Now my 4870GS , 50% fan speed , non-aircond room , idle temperature at 53c...

Below are my 3dmark06 score. No OC yet. I did two test on windows XP and windowx Vista 64bits. My XP gives me better score than Vista... dont know why ==".

Just to share with you guys. Tried OC'ing my 4870GS to 780 / 1040 (Ati tools auto tune). GC idle is around 48c full load at 60c-65c (100% fan speed).

Here is my 3dmark score. Seems like a very overclock-able card. Will try to push it more...
