is there any software to control the 4850GS fan speed?

guys, question. I installed the 4850GS and went through all the installation stuff. But one installation couldn't complete. It's the Microsoft UAA HD audio driver. The installation cannot proceed cos cannot find the location of the driver. I used the CD which came with the card and it couldn't find the driver there. Please help.

Any way for me to download the driver directly? i can't find it on the net.

eh, crap la. My system will suddenly hang, den get black screen. Den an error message saying xxx has stopped the VPU because the graphic driver is not responding. ;?

Spore looks beautiful on 4850. All max on 1900x1200.

I think it's the 8.8 driver issue. I've reverted back to 8.7 and i don't get any VPU errors. I'll try 8.8 again once i've installed vista.

Can i drop in another 4850 and run it on CF with my DFI P965-S motherboard? It has 2 pci-e slot, but one is 16x and the other is 8x. Will the 8x bottleneck the other card?

my specs are as follow:
acbel 500W
C2D E6600 @ 3.4ghz
4gb DDR2
2x 250GB HDD
2 DVD-RW

I think i need to upgrade my psu first before i can drop in the 2nd card rite? Guess i'll just wait till price for 4850 drops.
