Hi everyone,

I'm the potential Gainward HD4850 GS user. But before that, I would like to seek for advice or anyone know about this or not.

I'm planning to buy the Gigabyte EP45-DS3R motherboard. Just wondering is this mobo able to fit in this card?
Would the card block the RAM locker? As you can see the edge of the PCIe slot is near to the RAM locker.

I have went thru the thread and someone mentioned that this card was block the SATA cable to be connected.

I'm just worry that it would happend to my mobo, i.e. Block the RAM placement.

Btw, how exactly the packaging now for Gainward HD4850 GS? As I know from this thread earlier, there are something missing, i.e. the Cross Fire Cable Bridge, right?

Can someone posting the unpack of the pacakes here?

It's look like to no problem.
however, just hope that the GC could be install after the RAM were installed and LOCKED.

Is the PSU Gigabyte Odin Pro (GE-M550A-D1) 550watt enough to support the following rig?

1. Gigabyte EP45-DS3R
2. Gainward HD 4850 GS
3. C2D E8400

Or should I look for 800watt PSU in order to have sufficient power to support Gainward HD4850 Gs?

I think should be ok since I'm going to have the rig as closer to yours one.

celciuz, so far, does your PSU 550w show lacking?

I just back from Lowyat Plaza, the price can't beat with Lehteck.
btw, I saw the package, it only contained 1 CD-ROM Driver, manual, 1 Adapter Converter only but not conveter to HDMI!
No Cross fire Cable, How come so little stuff? Some this caqrd is expensive than other reference card and non-reference card.

Hopefully, Netraid can consider to give the Converter to HDMI port as well.

Lehteck, can get 1 for me ah? brows.gif

Dun know why my package as promised to be delivered today have not reach my door yet? cry.gif

I have order the Gainward HD4850 GS and expected to be fixed in all by tomorrow.... now look like I have to be very disappointed liao.... cry.gif

I have installed my 4850 GS, so far no problem, and it is a very good performance GC. rclxms.gif
so far, just installed play C&C 3 and Supreme Commander. Can set vert high setting in both games without any issues even though I have not tweak the card. biggrin.gif

I had chosen this Gainward HD4850 GS because of good compliments from the user in this thread.

After compare and deep consideration, I choose this card. The result?
No regret. Fanstatic GC!!!. My card always keep at 45'C to 47'C at normal room, with air-cond will be 40'C the lowest so far I got.

Playing games, no problem so far........, just tried C&C3 and Supreme Commander.
