Hi guys, i'm joining the gainward 4850 team very soon, 1 thing to ask, u guys prefer GS or custom cover edition? Which one provide better cooling? And, will it have any problem with my vantec 450w PSU? Thanks

Just got my 4850 GS, damn like it. But the bundled accesories is damn little, just got a 6pin-8pin converter and a dvi converter....But i like the cover so much. hahaha

I just notice one thing, when idle, the clock speed for my 4850 is 500 and 1100 eventhough i have clock it to 710 and 1110. Is it normal?

hi guys, anyone experience driver crash before? My 4850 GS's driver crashed just now when i'm playing DMC 4. My driver-8.530.0.0 with CCC8.9. I encountered this before with my 3870 x turbo last time.

yaya, the screen suddenly goes blank and when recovered, the game already stop and there is a popup saying my driver has stop working and recovered.

nope. idle at 44-45, load at 58

I'm using vantec 450w truepower. I also suspecting my PSU not enuff juice. But is it the symptom will be like this if my PSU not enuff power?

will it be my previous gc driver interfering? coz i just install the new driver without uninstall the previous one.

haha....good news for me. Btw, can anyone tell me the sign of a not stable or not enuff juice PSU? coz i suspecting my PSU is giving me prob, causing the 4850 driver not stable.

I think i got the 2nd batch. But the game hang or BSOD will happen to me once in a blue moon. I'm now wondering, may it be my PSU having problem? Mine is vantec 450w. Last time, my 3870 also suffer this kinda prob. so weird. Now running atitool to check for artifact, no error for 1 hour already.
