@dandy, which review mention that Gainward card having issue? don't simple accuse leh =_= unless u got valid proof ..speaking of temperature, gpu can withstand up to 100c and above -.-..i used to use a very HOT ati card and it does not even have problem for me..i played games like command and conquer 3: kane's wrath for few hours also no problem leh..temp almost reach 80c+..not to mention using reference card..so it's actually either ur psu problem or air flow.

Plug that one into GC then no 12v to boot your CPU le (if that 8pin can put into the GC la haha)

the 8 pin cannot lar ..coz it's has slightly different head ...some shops bullshit 1 lar lol..coz they not sure about some stuff...

lol, means i got bullshitted

screw that shopkeeper..

but im glad that my gc is working great, tho kinda worry that so many people are experiencing blackout and high temp

chill ..trying to verify that..i'm sure it's either psu related or something else aiyoh, my reference card also damn hot leh =_=...temp is normal coz graphic card is built to withstand high temp 1:)

hi..there just wondering is anyone here use Gainward 4850 GS on 450W PSU and lower.. Do you have any problem? May i know your pc spec...eg..how many fan running,dvd-rom and etc...

plan to get one but i only had 450w Cooler Master PSU and well NetRaid mention some one is using with a lower PSU so just want to check with the owner... thank you

Any shortcuts to reproduce it? My only way is to use furmark and enable MSAA8x confirm blackscreen ._. other than that i need to play crysis for sometime with everything maxed out including AA

Just change to Sapphire Dual Slot Fan 512 DDR3 HD 4850
Everything run fine and no problem with Crysis at all!!

I love gainward but it make me dissappointed..sorry men

Tough luck for you to get a faulty card =/ But I recalled the GS was clocked higher than the Toxic isn't it?

well, check announment, the distro give 1 on 1 exchange anyway.. btw dual slot is not toxic card ...golden sample currently the highest factory overclock card netraid

nope. It's the batch ..+ distro already give 1 to 1 warranty + not everyone having the problem anyway.. if all user having problem, gainward already made announcement regarding it
