vista really makes frame rate loss within the game. i can feel the game abit more laggy on the same settings i had with XP despite it's directx10 capable.

ngeh, i was using amd fusion and during intense battle, the game crashed. new mobo and cpu are required perhaps. have to be patience for new rig later.
Added on October 7, 2008, 3:59 ambtw, when playing devil may cry 4, the highest reso i can use is 1280x1024. i dont know why. previously on nvidia 9600gt, i can go up to 1680x1050. This post has been edited by Dark Steno: Oct 7 2008, 03:59 AM |

hmmm, with 4850GS, even on 1680x1050 reso plus 8 x msaa, the result still S for dmc4 pc performance test. it's directx10 too. as much as i being satisfied, there's one thing i don't understand why the shadow looks blocky. i believe that's the game fault itself.

QUOTE(lotiman2003 @ Oct 23 2008, 11:09 AM) If possible wait until the game launch and see what other ppl said when playing FC2 with 4850GS. The game already launched le. From the verdicts, Far Cry 2 has lower requirements compared to Crysis.I play Crysis Warhead at max setting is laggy with a 4850GS. Kinda dissapointed since original Crysis is quite smooth, though. Jumping from 8600 to 4850GS is really a big jump. 4850GS should be at least 3 times faster than 8600 (but also depends on games) |
