Ya agree with desmond1310 bro, i also suspect is the DVI or VGA problem with his monitor or LCD.
Anyway, you can try to troubleshoot with the steps he mentioned. And if can, please provide the info from my question so our members here can try our best to help. smile.gif

it seems ur problem got to do with dvi display...

try..
1) to reduce DVI frequency through CCC
2) if 1) not helping, use DVI--VGA converter, and use VGA display
*
K thx...

What reduce DVI freq do la ?

I'm kinda new to CCC.

Unless I have very bad luck receiving 2 bad cards.

(Seams my new card have some indentified thermal paste fingerprint on the heatsink)

Oh well, the guy did check my card...maybe his hand got paste lol.

QUOTE(Zan @ Nov 4 2008, 06:22 PM)
I read somewhere, i forget where, that the difference between 4850 GS and non GS is about 5 fps, max 10 fps at those games which churn out 60+ fps. Is this true, or did i get punk`d with my non-GS 4850? Honestly, i`ve been able to play Crysis and other games at my native resolution of 1280x1024 at max settings, without (almost) any lag. So the question is... should i`ve gone with the GS version?
*
Ya.....Even it dosen't OC i still buy b'cuz of the cooler and 8-pin.

Added on November 4, 2008, 6:39 pmYup so I confirm with my flickering issue.

It's DMC 4's Fault lol....

When I uninstalled the game....

Everthing went fine...no more flicker.

My Moniter auto-refreshed it self .... which cause my suddenly black screen.

Is there anyway to fix this ?

I tried the DVI reduce thingy
