back in some page in this thread i posted my rig using CM690 case with HD4870GS. my card auto fan at 50% and under load oso the fan will only go till 60%. checked using rivatuner's graph. idle at 50C load at 65C +-.

CM690 user with HD4870GS. side panel fan pls convert to blow out instead of blow in. open all the PCI back plate for air intake. HD4870GS not only exhaust air to the back of the card it also stray out from the side coming out from the heatpipe area so if u have your side fan blowing in it will only spread the heat throughout the inside of the case.

owikh84: can i know the spec of your PC? what motherboard you using there =D
