What has power management got to do with blackout? The blackout isn't a crash or something... is just like a sudden lost signal to the monitor (but there is signal..just showing black).

Frankly, if you're going to get a 4850 GS or a higher powered card. Stay away from Huntkey V-Power 550W. It will make pitch noise according to the FPS. Very very irritating. I tried with a Silverstone ST50F and there's no noise at all.

This Huntkey V-Power is definately not true power. 550W is the peak. I can't find the review for it... but the 80% efficieny is only at 200w or so if I'm not mistaken and it drops down to 70% at max.

Also wondering, is Gainward bringing in the 4850x2 to Malaysia?

Blackscreen problem, is it because of the VPU crashing and then reset by the driver so the screen comes back on?

Hmm, Vista users regardless of 64bit or 32bit do not experience the blackscreen?

I'm using CCC8.8 and it automatically goes to what profile I've used... 55% fan speed . Try using ccc8.8? I know I had to select the profile back at 8.7 though.

No problem, RAM very cheap nowadays The only reason my rig is still 2GB... is cause that time they ran out of stock -.- oni 1 stick left... will be on 4Gb once I "obtain" my vista x64 xD

Gainward has a version of 4850 that comes with the custom fan but the PCB is reference.

Must see how hot his 4850 GS went to, might be the temp. Sagitta doesn't look like a case with very good airflow though. (At stock that is...)

Your temp seems pretty high though. Fan speed at default? Try increasing it to 55% or so.

Screen blinking as in signal lost then coming back? Maybe the dongle is faulty. Try another dongle?

Only some pins are used for VGA that's why not same... you mean missing pins?
