errr 4870 is more than enough to power up a 4870 =.=, and it's a decent psu..how can it explode

not really too, i think maybe more on brand the the +12v values? now these days not many psu comes with 80+ certification (i think)

but to get that rating is not easy..hehe..might consider changing a bigger psu soon ...btw cyew86, made up ur mind already regarding on psu?

i'm still using reference 4850. soon changing to new cooler ...Thermalright Trad2 speaking of cd rom, heck..my p3's cdrw still works till now...(using cap ayam psu ) go for it then, cyew86. but i seriously do recommend u getting a new psu if u're getting a new hardware or something..or not..maybe try huntkey? seems ok to me..cheap to for the price of it ..(normal usage should b good)

lol!! as for me, i prefer reference card..had problems with non reference card...but feel like trying GS cards ...

actually, for BTing..gpu runs on 2d mode thus saving power..Most or rather all ATI cards has ATI power play which actually downclock or upclocks depending on application. for gaming, it will run at default speed while at desktop mode..it's on 2d mode btw there no proof thats says those gpu will increase electric bills. ppl change to 750w psu from 500w also do not have increase on their monthly bills ...+ if for bt, for sure speakers and lcd/monitor will b turn off, processors and gpus will both run in lower clock speed..
