Woots, proud owner of Gainward 4870 GS. Just got it yesterday night from a forumer. Rig almost done, just left 3 more parts (mobo, psu, proc) to gao dim the whole thing.

PS: This monster is really huge, I wonder it can fit inside my casing or not =="

Reverting back to 8.7 looks refreshing. Only one blackout encountered so far.

You could get cooler temps if you manually adjust the fan speed. Set it at 50/55%. May just satisfy you more biggrin.gif

on gainward website : 4850 GS (700+/1100+)

why do they state the core and memory as so(with plus sign, +)?

is the actual core and memory differs for different batches of Golden Sample cards?

or they mean maybe higher than that but minimum is core 700 and memory 1100?
