QUOTE(blacktrix @ Sep 4 2008, 06:42 PM) Er, 2.5-3k very hard to get....... even at Second hand. check with Ceriatone. They might be able to build you one. I checked with Nik a while ago, he said he doesn't have any plans to build high-gain amps for the time being. Earliest would be sometime next year. And he said that it definitely wouldn't be a 5150 copy because he hates 5150s. But maybe if enough people show interest, he would consider it. ianhooi, look out for Randall RG50TC or Bugera amps such as the 333XL. Those should be in your price range brand new. QUOTE(ianhooi @ Sep 5 2008, 12:17 AM) ur right, and yeah im sorry everdying. just that.. people assuming i dont know what im talking about just really pisses me off sometimes. THAT is the bugera? whoa. I didnt know it sounded so awesome. for everyones info i AM playing it in my bedroom. but its soundproofed. so itll definitely be able to handle a 50 watt tube head on 2/5. thanks for your suggestions everyone. i was seriously considering the RG50TC. anyone know where i can get one in malaysia? Only Randall dealer here is GC. Last time I went, they didn't have it though. Try asking them whether there are any plans to bring that model in. Otherwise, you have to go to Singapore.

QUOTE(sean392 @ Sep 5 2008, 11:30 PM) Well, if you're gonna splurge dough for a full tubed amplifier, might as well get a power attenuator. THD Hot Plate comes to mind True, heed this advice! Unless you want to get deaf in the process of getting an orgasmic tone.

The Valveking is not really HIGH HIGH gain tube amp. You would need a decent OD pedal and a speaker swap for it to reach its full high gain potential. If you're ordering from Thomann, why don't you get the Randall RG50TC. But also be careful when ordering amps oversead, because the voltage there is different than here. You could blow up your amp (exaggerating) if you get it and just straight away plug it in here.
