as low as it can!
for those who needs a training amp! so we need it as low as possible~! between RM50~150 even a crap amp would do great for us ( beginner!! ) |

We're still looking at around RM300-400 for an amp that's worth any coin. Anything less will just sound horrible and most likely put you off guitar.

i'm also a beginner who had just started to play. i have a crappy 10W amp and yes i really didn't mind it at all at first, thinking just want to practice, don't need to be gigging yet etc2. but then when i heard other amps, it sounded waaaay different and better than the crappy one i have.it makes me lose interest to play with that bad sounding crappy 10w amp.it really opened my eyes and ears about amp quality and now i'm going to get a vox AD30VT for the quality and price it offers

yeah amp is very important. Good thing is that now there're many cheap and great practise amps. Not too long ago all that's cheap = crap

Even with guitar software, you'll need a good soundcard/guitar interface otherwise the delay will be horrible......... and a decent setup will cost you a new amplifier already
But if you have a Soundblaster Audigy 2 and above (not inbuilt motherboard soundcard..... the latency is too high), you can buy a 1/8 jack to 1/4 jack and hook up your guitar to your soundcard, run software like Amplitube or Guitar Rig and work like a virtual amplifier. It won't sound THAT fantastic, but at least it will sound better then the RM200 amps! |

well, to answer where can you get cheap amps, u can always try your luck at pawnshops. cash converters in ampang and kelana jaya, and buy sell trade in taman melawati, ampang, pj oldtown and few more places. can get them really cheap. just pray some rockstar in need of fast cash and desperate enough to sell their amp, and you might get a very good deal. lol~

hmmmmmm....... I tried ASIO4All a long time ago....... didn't work that well for my pc the last time.
But seeing the newer releases gives me more confidence Yeah, if you want to save up your cash, try that option out. |
