we bought it at court 3 near bengkel metro bus.
they sell according to length.
rm3 for about 3feet.
then just cut it 3inch in length & split it into 4 pieces....
i'm sure ur babies will love chewing on it.

you mite have an allergic reaction to the bacterias trapped underneath their long nails....

just imagine if you don't cut your nails...
so to every suggie slaves, a reminder....
it is very important to get their nails trimmed to avoid this problem....
learn how to cut their nails, get a nail-o-matic or get them trimmed at petshack...

no other way & u have to endure the bitting...
WC gliders will take longer to bond compared to joeys...
i've found that the tent bonding method to work better cos glider & u are in a small enclosure & both of u will have to get used to each other's presence plus body smell....
nothing good comes easy...

they still need their fresh fruits & veg EVERY DAY...

if ever u suspect your suggie is having constipation (hard to poo) give some papaya or steam/boiled sweet potato...
if their poo becomes too watery give them fruits/veg with more fiber...

every glider is an individual, just like humans...
some likes to eat...
some sleeps more than others...
some are hyper active....
some are calm.....
etc....
as long as they are eating well, u shouldn't worry too much...
get a sleeping pouch so u can get them out easier....
trust me, i had a coconut before & it's hard to get them out when they grow bigger...
plus they tend to turn brown faster...

she's up & 1st thing she went to look for is food...
now she's eating.. nicely munching away...

I am not siding with anyone here nor am I finding faults.

Cyanide was found in slurp. It may not be in all the slurps that have been produced. So happens that the one that was sent in had it.

It could be from negligence or an over sight.

Jamien, if you eat cyanide in a small dose, it will not kill you right away. It will take months even years for any effect to take place as cyanide can not be removed from ones body. Unless you take high dosage then I'll say sayonara to you.

There is a huge difference between a human's size & gliders so it is very clear that all of us are concerned.

Now it would be a huge relief if we know what goes in a slurp as cyanide is found in everyday food like coffee, almonds, peaches, alfalfa sprouts, flaxseed etc.

Flaxseed for example. It produces a cyanide-like glycoside which is rendered inactive once in our digestive juice.

Humans may be able to sustain it but gliders?

So please know your facts.

Ok. Now the cyanide topic has got way out of hand that most of us do not realize that the lab report also states the calcium & phosphorus ratio is unhealhty too.

Now can anyone explain that?

Hind legs paralysis (kaki belakang lumpuh) is when one or both of the suggies leg cannot move....
When they are walking, they drag themselves using both front legs...

So again it is very important to feed them with the right calcium : phosphorus ratio....
Too little calcium = hind legs paralysis
Too much calcium = kidney stones/failure
