And I was considering to join Curtin Uni. Now I have second thoughts.

Anyway, would like to know how is Curtin's accommodation there. Planning to either apply for Erica Underwood House or Vickery House. Which one is better in terms of space/furniture. I am going to apply for the Chemical Engineering Course there. Would also like to know how is the student life there and how is the student association(community) there. Any current students that can give their opinion in this matter.

Secondly, I also considered Newcastle Uni as another choice to apply for a Chemical Engineer Course. Would like to know the same things as above.

In summary, would like to know the general info on:

1. How does the University fare on the course I want to apply(chem Eng)
2. How is the community there?
3. How is the weather there?
4. The life there.

I do know the price. Just want some info about the place itself from a student's view.

Ok. Thanks and what about the student life there. As in the life of an international student.

Hi all,

I need open suggestions on what calculator to bring to University(Curtin) for Chemical Engineering. Will the scientific calculators that we use in Form 5(Casio 570 ES - if I remember the model correctly) suffice or do I need to buy those RM 400+ calculators that AusMat/SAM students use.

Thanks in advance
