Hi,

Am a noob wanting to get a 32" - 37" LCD TV. Been looking at the Samsung Series 5 A550 and the Panasonic LX800. Primary use will be for watching movie files from my laptop via HDMI, and the occassional gaming and ASTRO. Viewing distance is about 5 - 6ft only. Words of advice? Have seen both models and although I like the detail of the Samsung I find the colour very unnatural.

The Pana 37LX800 can handle 1920 x 1080 resolution. Although typically for PC connectivity, it's better to use the Pana's native resolution of 1366 x 768.
