yes, you are true,

hitachi plasma has a serious flickering problem when u see among different plasma tv brands.

the plasma panel seems to flicker due to the gas in the cell (in the glass panel) charge and discharge to emit the light.

however, besides hitachi plasma tv, the rest of the plasma tv brands are ok with the problem.

Is it b'coz that Hitachi is using the Alis technology which causes the flicker?

Your brightness, backlight or contrast might be too high. Try adjusting them.
