asking all experts in this, i noticed that some 42in Full HD LCD are around 4k. Are these sub-standard displays and worth buying or should I spend my 4k in a better but HD Ready set?

Just found out that Toshiba 32 inch AV500 LCD TV only selling at RM1780 with 1 year risk insurance (theft, fire, lighting). Some more there's an optional RM244 for extended warranty for service & part replacement for free in case of any damage/ malfunction.

Can I conclude few things here? Based on my recent survey in the market.

-- All 32inch LCD only support upto 1366x768 panel resolution and unable to support FULL HD at 1080p natively.

-- Analogue TV Signal quality is similar to Astro Playback using Coaxial and Composite cable respectively.

-- 32inch LCD make no difference with 37inch except the 5inch bigger on panel screen size.

32" too small for me.. 42" too big for me.. need a 37" from panasonic.. since lots of forumer suggest this brand.. in their web site there are lots of 37".. 37LZ800MK,37LX800MK,37LX88MK(3years waranty),37LX80MK,37LZ80MK(5years waranty) - 5 model...

main purpose only watching astro.. which 1 should I get?

I saw a Full HD version of 37" @ $3599, probably i've forgotten the model codes ...

37lz80, hmm not recommendable unless u go for 32lz800 or at least 32lx800 coz the PQ and picture clarity of 800 series is alot better than 80 series, try to compare the black colour u ll know and .....alot more

Thanks overfloe... I'm still confused.. what about LX800? I think the pricing for LX800 and LZ80 is quite the same and lower than PV80. And the difference is quite substantial.

LC42A53M - 42" HD Ready AQUOS with 100Hz
Only HD ready, but highlight 100Hz, 65M not 100Hz?

Is Vierra PV80 any better than above model?

give panasonic a call. i remember reading somewhere about the buzzing sound - but not sure which forum. dont worry coz you have 5 year warranty ma. Mine also no buzz sound. may be you can ask their tech to come and listen to the buzz..

what level do you set for P-NR? or turn it off all together?

Thanks bro.. I only feel that the display with Astro is not up to my expectations (which is what I watch most of the time). Thats why wanna ask if u guys set it to something different. How's your set if u r watching astro?
Are there any settings or adjustments I can make to make it look better. I hope the installer installed everything the right way.
