QUOTE(mikapoh @ Oct 28 2008, 09:43 PM) Yeah better to get the seller to deliver the heavy plasma to ur home. Normally they should not charge for extra transport fee coz they already earned ur margin in the tv set. I noticed my plasma was transported upright position to my house. This should be the correct way to move it, not lay side way. Be warned. did u fixed to the wall or on the tv cabinet. how much do they sell the wall bracket - 42' plasma, found some at HN so expensive.

QUOTE(mikapoh @ Oct 28 2008, 09:50 PM) Hey one question for u tv technicians out there. Today, I was told by one of the audio visual specialist here that the Panny Plasma does not upscale by itself. It only upconvert the astro signal. He suggested to go via Onkyo AVR 606 to really upscale to 1080p and the picture on tv will looks much better...............? Puzzle.....ture? I dont believe him. Better trust the sifus here to convince. Added on October 28, 2008, 9:56 pmI requested to mount it on the wall. I bought the original Panny's wall bracket coz it comes with warranty If in the event the bracket breaks and caused tv to drop, then they will compensate u the tv price. There are ahem brackets but no insurance covered so I dont even bother eventhough it costs lesser. I think the original plus installation cost about RM300. Worth it lah as they neatly and safely put the heavy tv up. Dont even think one person can handle all these jobs. Anyway, after mounting, it looks neat and maximise space. thks for the advice, how high is the panny from the floor? is this depends on the siiting distance or the height of the sofa.

QUOTE(lthock @ Dec 31 2008, 10:15 PM) any panny 42LZ80MK owner out here?? plz share some review... it a LCD but FullHD + 2 years warranty i will use it for HDplayer +ps3 +dvd(chinese drama) read up previous post...all agreed that plasma good for astro..but i wouldnt use astro but panny plasma pv80hm is hd ready + 5 years warranty + cheaper so shld i go for 42LZ80MK ?? since u r getting the PS3, better go for 42LZ80MK (Full HD). if u get from Lyn forummers, the cost is probably Rm3.7K. i've not compare this model against PV80HM but if the source is bluray, then better go for Full HD (1080P). you can see a lot of difference.
