I think for u.........go for the Panny Full HD 50". I am in a similar sitting position using it for BD & DVD mostly 'action' movie & some movie got dark scene ( as in horror movie ). Fast action & dark scene is not suitable for LCD got blurring effect & cannot show the dark part. Poke in to my 'review' on plasma ( it is in my signature ).
