SPORE FOR DS

ITS OUT TODAY !

Unsurprisingly, Spore on the DS will focus more on the creature-creation aspect than will its PC counterpart. Bradshaw stated that the game will focus on two important core elements: creativity and sharing. To this end, players will be able to create their own unique creature by customizing many different physical characteristics, and can then share their creations with friends. Not only will your friends' creatures appear in an in-game zoo, but they'll also populate in the game proper. Bradshaw also stated that the stylus controls will make Spore on the DS a unique experience, and that the platform allowed Maxis to open up its design philosophy.

the Nintendo DS version of Spore, which seems more or less complete at this point. The kid-friendly game lets you control a single creature as you explore the universe, making new friends, fighting mean monsters, and constantly changing and evolving. In the campaign, you play as a plain-looking critter looking to fight, live, love, and evolve as you explore individual planets, taking on brief quests that are logged in a journal in the upper-left corner of the top screen. These quests may involve fighting an enemy, making a friend (by performing a socially attractive dance while controlling your critter with the stylus), or exploring a new area

We then switched over to the creature creator, which will apparently be nearly as extensive as that of the original computer versions of the game, featuring more than 200 different body parts, including eyes, fins, mouths, legs, arms, tails, and other features. Like in the computer versions, different body parts cost points to purchase, and they'll confer various bonuses to your creatures' abilities, such as making it more effective in combat or making it run faster. Evolving your creature is as simple as using your stylus to drag body parts onto and off of your critter. You'll also apparently be able to use the DS's Wi-Fi capabilities to swap creatures with your friends, such that your created creatures may end up in your buddy's game as an ambient critter, and vice versa.

Added on September 4, 2008, 4:36 amTried Spore ds already

Cute but ugly creatures
Nintendo WFC enabled and Local Wirelessly

My experience of it

Create ur creature
Got Task/Goals to be complete
Obtain body parts when task/goals/combats/be friends has done
Body parts for you to create ur creature to a stronger one each time
Uplevel it to be most powerful

Then i guess going online with WFC should do something else or Trading, havent try the online mode yet to this game

Uh.. Commander Steel Disaster kinda sark and pace of the action is not as fast as Metal Slug 7 and most importantly, no MULTIPLAYER like Metal Slug 7!
Instead of playing CSD, I strongly recommend a replay of Metal Slug 7, or Contra 4, at least can multiplay.

BTW, who played Spore DS and Spore PC?
If Spore PC is almost like Spore DS, then I'm not going to buy Spore PC lo...

Thank you, but now I've modified it to look like the final boss of the game (after buying some parts of it) laugh.gif
There's more to unlock, and now waiting for my bro to finish up his game so that we can start trading biggrin.gif

I think around 24 hours, or maybe less.
