Does your present HU come with RCA preout??
If yes, add another amp, using 2 amps to power the front and the sub seperately.
Make sure both amps come with built-in crossover.
Then get a tuning sifu.

since u have 2 channel now, if possible use the 2 channel to power the front components and get another amp to power the sub

agree with pisces, get an amp with built-in xover
then get a tuning sifu

If possible, add up a digital farad capacitor to provide stable power for your amp to drive those speaker and sub. You'll notice lower light flicker when bass hit low.

Is called Digital Farad Capacitor. Usually 2 farad is good enough to power up to 2000W usage.

Is to avoid voltage drop, (when voltage drop, amp can't run smooth and cause enormous heat build up). 13V to 14.4V is the best range to run amp efficiently.

Price range from rm 2xx right up to RM 2k plus.

This is an example of Soundstream Digital Farad rated at 6Farad. Outside market price is around rm 1599 at least. But can get around rm 950.

Of course you can get a seperate crossover but it involves more costs on the crossover itself, the wiring, installation etc.

There is nothing than can be recomended to add unless your car is brought to an ICE shop to evaluate your existing setup, your ears & the the type of music you frequently listen to. There are cases the more you add the more 'teruk' the quality it ends up, but only psychologically improvement 'cause already spend $$. biggrin.gif

Bro....sounds abit expensive to me..... capacitors comes in grades....
digital capacitors is just a term used.....in actual fact, capacitors only have 1 type.
its whether the manufacturer add any circuitry to control the output or not only

at 1k range, i would go for mundorf, helix, stinger or street wires.

Power-Cap is power-cap as mentioned is only 1 type depending on rating on 'farad' rating, add one LED Voltage display than re-name to Digital Farad which sound nice & marketable.

Personally never believe in this item other than DB sound-competition whereby you need that 10sec burst of power rclxm9.gif for the highest recorded DB during the entire stress-test. After that if your existing alternator & battery cannot sustain the required amplifier-drain or as what we call(pomchat) cry.gif , you can have 10 or 20 or these power-caps in your setup which will not make any difference. Always take note that these caps do not produce any power other than sustaining the burst of current flow to your amps from its source battery.

But my current amp doesnt have crossover, so if i get another amp with crossover is that enough?
