I use different shampoo for different purpose. I found that I need to alternate a different brand each time for best results.
General use - Follow Me green tea is most suitable for me IF I wash twice. Clean feeling, not oily, not dry and not flat. If only wash once.. its average. Sticky & dirty hair after exercise - Clear, Sunsilk fresh. But if used too often in a row, it leaves a residue. Dry hair - Tsubaki or Dove to soften hair. But Dove makes my hair fall too much, even the anti-fall one. |

I love Herbal Essences Long Term Relationship one. Smells nice. But since I'm on a tight budget now, I'm currently using Johnson's Baby shampoo the orange one.

QUOTE(Tham @ Nov 13 2008, 03:30 PM) Clear, and most other standard antidandruff shampoos what do you recommend for oily and dry scalp, washing away the oil but not drying the scalp?on the market, contain 1% zinc pyrithione, which is very drying. One is Kao. I am using Watson's Dandruff Shampoo with 1% zinc pyrithione, and it dries my right hand so bad it has worsened my eczema there to the point of contact dermatitis. Others have 0.4 to 0.8 %, so these are less drying, but at the same time less effective against dandruff. Other dandruff shampoos containing Piroctone olamine, also known as Octopirox, are less drying. An example is the Himalaya brand. Some shampoos contain climbazole, but this is not very effective as an antidandruff agent (one is Feather brand, I think). The most effective antifungal agents are ketoconazole, used in Nizoral shampoo, and selenium sulfide, used in Selsun. However, these tend to be even more drying, especially the those stronger concentrations. anyone can answer this. TIA. |

J.r. liggett bar shampoo. The herbal bar or the coconut oil is really good.
It takes getting used to. At first your hair will feel really starchy as it removes all the impurities. Spray your hair with a apple cider vinegar rinse, leave in for 2 minutes, then rinse off with water. Your hair will be super soft and silk. I purchased it from a seller on lowyat. Other brands I have tried is Timotei. Value for money. Smells amazing, if you forget to condition your hair, it's still soft. Dove is also good. |
