Just taking care of my own end there. I agree on where we started off is because of the way society enforces their thoughts and preferences as we grow within them, but as we age, we should be able to grow OUT of the disgusting habits we were once guilty of. Not wanting to change, or even not trying to even change, makes you somewhat guilty of contributing towards the issue.

The Apple's version works fine with me. Small window yes, but no hiccups.

QUOTE With TV episodes and stuff... personally I don't see a difference between downloading them off torrent sites and recording a locally aired broadcast onto a PVR. In most cases aired programs are sponsored by the broadcaster/advertisers anyhow. To keep things within the legality loop, would you be willing to wait until the said episode airs onto the locally aired broadcast before torrenting it? FCC in the States have explicitly disallow recording of any kind, of TV show spisodes aired in any network in the US. The very same courtesy, is extended and complied with, under watchful eyes of MPAA to explicitly disallow this as well, when those said TV shows are syndicated and licensed to air as imported content in other countries as well. It is part of their license. There may be some grey areas we are troding there, but if found, you'd be in serious trouble. Luckily the hands of MPAA are not as far reaching as here.

I see the haste for downloading Tv Shows here partly blamed for the lackadaisical attitude the local cable company here (read: Astro, monopoly and all) towards getting the shows updated here.
Things are a bit grey when it comes to this. I just feel going the purchase route being the safer and right than downloading torrents. Again, if you like those torrented episodes, show a little support to the production team by purchasing them. I also have another solution. Why not try Hulu.com? This streaming service provides the latest episodes of TV Shows currently airing in the States, and this does not tread upon illegal matters unlike torrents. I do Hulu.com when I need my Conan O'Brien fix.

QUOTE(neekun @ Sep 12 2008, 02:16 PM) Hopefully someone can post the direct download link so we can use third party download manager to grab it. Using the iTunes in built download is very slow sometimes. Not while I'm in Frankfurt.
