Hi Frenz... I really2 need help...  im using 12" sub X 4 2unit 2ch amp for sub... 1unit 2ch amp for mid... my problem is... my power is too low when i blast my sub.. the reading at volt meter is +-11.50 Volt like that...  this rate not support my amp.. the normal one is 14.1Volt when engine running... i dont hav capacitor but im planning to add 1unit battery in my car... put in front.. im also planning to change my alternator for better power charging... the question is... u all hav cadangan? what alternator is best for my car?? (im driving 1.6 M GenII ) hav good charging speed... and which shop can i buy and install these item...

Your setup need to be checked completely before making any recomendation due to the power drop, could be a small problem & not necessary to add batteries or replace alternator.

he has 4 subs with 2 x 2ch amp
so i assume its 2 ohm load. first of all, the amp might be under power therefore its draining too much power.
adding caps may or may not help.
suggest to thread starter to post what kind of amps and subs he's using
too generic to tell now

to keep at 14 volt... dun blast with hi volume. Add a 5 farad capasitor and see.

before you add/ change/ modify anything onto your charging system...
i suggest you look for the cause for the low voltage output...
adding another battery now only adds more problem to the charging system... its not charging well one battery already and you wan to force it to charge two batteries... surely efficiency goes now...
