Google penalized Google Japan for buying links, drop from 9 to 5

Does anyone know when is the next Google PR update? Yeah I know, this question is such a cliche already...

my http://itblood.blogspot.com still remain PR3 but i wonder why my http://todayfinancialworld.blogspot.com suddenly dropped to PR0. i did nothing wrong on it, just usual blogging, anyone any idea?

could you give me some advise ?

I don't get it. How do we identify whether a link is sponsored link or not?

i think gs20 wants to know WHICH link is sponsored link... not how to solve the selling links problem

hmm yea, but how do we know which is the sponsored link and which isnt? 

hmm sorry for letting you misunderstand the question... but i mean the reader of the blog.... how do they know which is sponsor link and which is not...

google has bots crawling on the blog/site... so they can detect it

Let say we pay a directory to get listed, is it consider sponsor link? Means if our is listed in those directory, we get penalized?

High page rank means better crawling, and deeper.

Also, may mean that sometimes you get better ranking.

But right now, Google has dropped the PR for many sites, or lowered them.

2 years ago, it was very easy to get high PR.

many of my site also got PR dropped although traffic and alexa has risen for few of them.

actually traffic does have relation with PR, but its rather indirect..
you know when your site got traffic.. ppl intend to bookmark(browser or socialbookmak site) your site.. and many of them also might add your site to their blogroll..
I know because I behave like that and some of mysite also being treated like that

in somewhat traffic will help boost PR...

higher traffic - more people link - somehow here and there it will relate to your PR and help boost ur PR

Is there any pagerank update? I saw that ahmike's blog got Pagerank drop from PR3 to PR2. All my blogs still maintain the same, I hope I got some pagerank increase in some of my blogs especially my main blog (PR3), hope to get PR4 haha!

ooo..ok..then you have to start update your blog lo..or else Google will think your blog is dead.
