You need a lot of good backlink to climb the pagerank ladder.

But don't worry if you have zero or 2. Cause sites like Lowyat with huge followings also got page rank of 3/10.

Just remember PR doesn't get you traffic.

I have done a few client website with PR0 but get top10 listing in Yahoo and Google. PR and SEO are 2 different thing.

My blog PR is 0 but most of my keywords are rank top10 is google.com.my and yahoo.com.my

But then again my blog are just for fun..

Wrong... I done a lot of SEO for PR=0 websites.. and they are ranked much higher than sites that have higher PR.

About search ranking... My advice is Don't pay any attention of PR. PR if more of siok sendiri only.. brows.gif

Content is "KING".. here is an example.. go to my blog and right click and view source.. See my title, keywords and description.. Then look at my content and learn how I rewrite to fit my keywords.

its less than 2 months old... Wait and see for another 6 months. As of yesterday google "bmw club" I was ranked #47 today its #33.. Yahoo I ranked #11.. So you see... its coming up.

BTW, let say I search for "humor", how to know where is my blog's ranking if I dun want to check page by page coz if it is ranked in page 201,000,000 I have to take leave to check my ranking  blink.gif  Any short cut?

The keyword is.. "NEVER GIVE UP!" you can break into top 100 easily with a lot of practice. However breaking into top10 needs a lot of patience.

You want to learn do your own SEO, its not actually rocket science, but when you know the trick, you know.. if you can't wait and want instant result hire SEO experts to do it for you.
