It never said the iPhone 3G will come unlock. It just says no contract.

You should have mentioned it earlier - me sister is in BKK; I could have asked her to get a unit [don't ask me Y she decided to go despite the 'state of emergency'!] Now she's stranded cause her flight got cancelled.

I don't know - u mentioned Thailand sets are unlocked (or somehow unlocked) in ur earlier message didn't U?!

She's not really stranded lah - her flight got cancelled and she's taking the next flight back; if she doesn't get on that next flight I guess then I'll just have an additional day to the house smile.gif

No harm checking to see if O2 can unlock it after a year - smile.gif Perhaps she could alwiz tell O2 her situation; that she's a student in UK and will onli be there for 12 months hence what's d point of getting the phone when she won't b able to use it post the 12 months?!
