from bandung to jakarta normally would take 3hours in a normal traffic (via jalan tol). if you visit in holiday. i doubt you can arrive there in 5hours..
but if you dont want to through the Tol traffic (jalan tol), the regular track is: Bandung -> puncak -> Bogor -> Jakarta.
Puncak and Bogor also have their own uniqueness
