Been to Jakarta countless times but never to Bandung. Just wanna ask, do most shops (especially dining) accept credit cards?
*
Yes, they do accept credit cards there. Usually, i'm using CIMB debit card when i'm at Bandung.

Dago. But, if stay there, I think quite far from everything else?  hmm.gif
*
Don't worry. Dago area is like in the middle of kota Bandung. Very near to go anywhere.

I self drove in bali before, so can I drive in Bandung?

I also drove myself when in Bandung. Not a problem. But be prepared 'mentally' when u driving there. Traffic jam, motorist ciluk here n there, road condition, etc2...... it really2 challenge u mentally. Haha..

I rode in vietnam before, enough mental preparation?  hmm.gif

If u often to get used with traffic in Vietnam, i think u will have no problem to ride/drive in Bandung. The traffic both places is quite similar with lots of motorist on the road. Exactly when u planning to visit Bandung?

Crime in our own backyard is as bad, if not worse. Fact of the matter is... nowhere is 100% safe. My advice is, just take precautions, don't venture out to places you know you have a very high chance of getting robbed/assaulted/raped (this comes with experience  wink.gif )

I second this!

Managed to rent a scooter for a day (100k, not cheap but using public transport is slower and can be more expensive).  Rode to soreang,  ciwidey and mt patuha (kawah putih)..  Very scenic

Riding in bandung wasn't as bad as i thought,  had to motoweave a lot laugh.gif

Angkot hopping wasn't as hard as I thought,  once i got used to it,  it was soo fun thumbup.gif
Went to braga, cihampelas,  pasar baru and rumah mode biggrin.gif
