Any one bought Santa Cruz electric guitars from Bentley? How are they? What wood are they made of?

Do not! I saw them going last time for around 300+. Its definitely going to be a horrible axe. If you're on a budget, try and save up a little more and look at SX guitars. Much better choice.

DO NOT WANT!
Last time I tried one, I felt like I was playing a cardboard tube.

I have a RM150 Santa Cruz dreadnought acoustic. Its actually quite good for the price, it sounds better than a few a my friend's more expensive acoustics. Their electrics on the other hand are just repulsive if i may say so. shakehead.gif

Not taling about getting a better guitar or the acoustic one. I already have my main axe, Ibanez Iceman. Just thought of getting a spare les paul copy for fun since I saw the white coloured one and it looks beautiful.

Ya, very true, laugh.gif but requires good pamper, haha. My dad bought another twin with the acoustic he got me, i brought my Santa Cruz along, took good care of her (cleaning her of dust, flirt around with her strings ), however her twin at home was not so lucky.. no one took care of her.. sad.gif Went home few months ago, her neck bended, impossible to tune... how sad...

Doesn't matter. Agathis and plywood are both in the same boat, and its sinking. biggrin.gif

i remember i picked up a santa cruz one time at rhapsody.
the body was pretty light and definitely much thinner than what a LP should be like.
if trash guitar, better just a SX strat for the same price.
