hi all.

i have a little bit of a situation here and i was wondering if you can help me.

i recently got a bunch of female bettas, and i find one to be aggressive. it's attacking the rest. need to know if female bettas have "ears" cuz this one does. kinda big too. it's bigger than the rest of the females i have. color is bright blue, and seems to have slightly bigger fins. (but like i said it's a bigger fish). my question is, is it possible that a male plakat got lost and ended up in the female bin?

help would be appreciated.

guys i came home to take a pic of d fish, then i noticed something. bubble nest. " then i moved it next to a tank of another male, it flared the ears.

a male got lost in the female bin. nice.

acam : how can u tell? bubble nest?

i tot so too at first, but when i was looking into my females tank, saw some bubbles in there as well. not a lot though. just a bit. so got me a confused a bit.

thanks edmund. i'll give it a check. regardless,, i kept it in it's own tank for the moment. it'll be a good laugh if it did turn out to be male.

Added on September 9, 2011, 4:38 pmok, came back home to find a big bubble nest, and no white dot under belly. it's male. lol!! thanks guys!

memang poisoning hobby. got 1 as a gift at first.

i got my crowntail damaged. didn't check properly when i bought. initially his anal fin all gone, and one ventral fin missing. he was so traumatized, makan oso dun wan, kembang oso dun wan, swim oso dun wan. poor fella. kena laga liao i think la. but now looking alot better, and very very responsive. making HUGE bubble nest edy.

to add to edmund's advice, do a water change. then put some plants. put the little fella in and then leave it. my betta didn't flare for over a week when i brought it home. it's just not comfortable yet. some take shorter time, and some longer. now flaring all the time.
