that is no limit of using ketapang leave.. but, i have question, y u wan to put so many ketapang leave.. i think one leaf for one container is more than enuf...

you are baby sitting him for few weeks.. (may b is the penang CTY winner, not sure... cuz 3 of them looks the same.. only one got torn caudal fin, so i know he is not travel to penang..)hahaha.. i means the male..lolz~~ yewlin, i got a solid steel blue hmpk, a solid royal blue hmpk, and a solid turquoise, which i think to spawn them before.. wan to do some hmpks but, i think i m more to HMs, so.. if u wan them.. i can pass to u... they are still virgin with big bubblenest..lolz~~

styr.. here is 2 fish, u see lo... u can request more photo from me, if u are interested... if u wan solid colour.. i have some other..
i choose this because newbie normally like mixed colour~~
notice, it is 2 different fish although they looks similiar, one anal fins is longer and have more red colour..

the photo that u show is betta mahachai~~ i m not sure who is keeping this.. if not mistaken, this species is not classified in any species group..

2.there are a lot of seller for HMs.. u can just simply ask around, expecially in kl area.. there are increasing number of HMs keepers... i m one of them..haha.. the price are differ... ask the seller if u are interested..

3. u can just use any container to keep them.. a simple new year cake plastic container is enough for them... it is better if u can provide a bigger jar or tank...

LFS are not easy to get HMs, unless u are very lucky.. only home hobbist will keep the best HMs, coz HM need lots of commiments tat LFS boss cannot put in.. it waste their time..
So, if u are looking for a good HMs, i suggest u to look for home breeders...
but, a lot of HM breeder have turn to become HMPK breeders d... So, it is not easy to find ya.. anyway, if u cant any of them.. can always look for me..haha

erm.. if u wan collect daun keatapang.. near seri kembangan or subang area oso have... but, becareful... sometime the leave will caused diease to ur fish as it is contaminated...
So, even i have a bunch of collected ketapang leaves... I do buy some that have well-packed in the tea bag.. and also a bottle of black water extract, both will be use for those fish that i want to show... coz i have experienced on those contaminated KTP leave that collected from roadside...

Busy with a mountain of assignments and midterm tests have keep me away from "LYN-ing" for quite some time...
So, trying to share my fish... although some of forumer here have saw this piece in another forum.. but, it is my pleasure to share wif fellow lowyat forumer...

RM50 is consider cheap.. some giant can reach RM100 if i really big enuf...

that is a lot of penang breeder there.. u can look for them... and a nice female normally dun come with a cheap price.. and if u have a nice female.. u must make sure u have a nice male too.. if not, wasted ur efforts on bringing up those fries.. just my humble opinion...

and if u can't find any breeders over there... can pm me wat kind of bettas are u looking for... i do have some for sale...

erm... for a short tail... i assume it is a HMPK.... price at RM85 is quite high...
may i know where u buy them from...
a HMPK price is normally fall around RM10-RM50.. So, if u are having a RM85 hmpk.. it shud be a show grade piece.... with nice deportment, sharp D-caudal, extended dorsal, clean colour and so on...

there are a lot of HMPK breeder around.. u can ask around lo... i got sell also... u wan the above one? check my sales thread..hahaha

it is up to u... i don't remove my male until the frys are 1 months and above... some said the male will tend to eat the frys.. but, i have no problem with that, and i felt that the survival rate is higher is the frys are accompanied by parents

Added on August 25, 2009, 2:08 amshorter tail and longer tails is depend on u... long tail need more maintainance and a lot of long tail breeders have move into short tails after they found that short tail looks great while maintainance is easier.. join me lah for the long tail one.. i hardly find long tails halfmoons player now...
