well, i dont even have slight interest in hm. i love only hmpk. i did see double tail halfmoon once. quite interesting betta. but other than that, not in my interest. maybe because short tail looks more handsome for me. plus when they dance. with their big fin. wow... gorgeous! looks like they have tooth.

never stalk ur betta after they lay egg. hahaha. some betta are very sensitive. they will eat the egg instantly if they feel unsafe. i use to have a betta that is not sensitive at all. but after that, all of my betta is very3 sensitive. never succeed in keeping egg until they die. hmmm..

the most troublesome part is the part where we need to remove the female. very2 troublesome. hope my next betta will be a betta that is not sensitive. my betta that is not sensitive is vert2 cool!. even when i take out the ketapang leave where he put the eggs, he still dont mind. i do it several times in order to check the condition of the egg. well, first time seeing they lay egg. but he never it them until they hactch. unfortunately, all the fries died bcoz no food. very2 sad. it was my most expensice betta. high quality black copper. dush!

please tell us how u make it. the process please.

daigoro, wat do u mean by smashed egg yolk? u mean feeding the fries with that? really can eh? nice info there. so, how long they can consume such thing? until 1 month?

oww.. so there are a lot of food for the fries actually. just that i dont know. about the infusoria, any other ingredients can be use to make it? i only know potato peel. will banana peel or other things such as fish pellet can be used?

female usually get egg all the time. they even can can mate once a week. this is from my experience. buy the female n start breeding. find female that is about the same size as ur male. that would be better.

where do u buy it n how much? from my view, it looks like both are quite a good quality specimen. cant guess more because they r not flaring. nice catch btw. i think it is a female n male hmpk. let them breed lo.

Added on March 23, 2011, 7:24 pmif both are male, then it is easy. just put the side by side. they will flare straight away. but dont let them flare too long. they will become tired. once or two times a day should be enough. kind of exercise for them.

the right one is not hm but hmpk. or do u mean that it can open his tail 180 degree? then it is a good quality. congratz!

owh.i tot the left one is female also. its fin look like a female. wait. i do read that female also built bubble nest sometime. but sure it looks like a female. i'm not an expert. cant take my advise seriously.

the lfs u guys mention on the above, is it the lfs that is located beside kedai perabot? if so, i did go there 2 times before. yup. same goes to me. very unfriendly. i buy an aquatic plant. so expensive! but the workers give me some n ask me to pay like i buy other thing that is cheap. n then he ask me to go quickly.

thats true. they sell very2 expensive. owh. i'm not yet go to the lfs behind zoo negara. maybe today or tomorrow i will pay them a visit.
