nice2 bettas u guys have now. i will be missing the betta sunday. nevermind, next 4 months, i will join the betta sunday again.
to update, my fries now 2 weeks old. left only 40-50 fries.

Hi, I am a novice in bettas~ My bf just gave me two bettas as a gift~ he just bought yesterday and gave me today. At his place, one of the betta making bubble nest all the time while another is not.

what is my concern is that, i made a partition tank where the partition is in blue color. after transfering them to the new tank, both of them (males) keep sticking to the partition and swim up and down while flaring (swim and move parallel). as from what i can see is that the partition cant see thru to another side. i would like to ask is there anything to worry about when comes to this?

another concern is that after transfering to the new tank, they dont make any bubble nest anymore~ may i know why?

very aggressive fish you had there lol, perhaps they get high when seeing blue it might be flaring due to it's own reflection
on the bubbling part.. most likely they need 1 or 2 day to settle down since fresh water been introduced.

Added on May 2, 2011, 11:38 pmactually they can see each other from the bottom of the partition.. got reflection.. no bubble nest? maybe they too busy flaring each other and they need some time to calm down b4 make bubble nest.. .. after 1 day will have de la.. how big is the tank? if too small better put them each in a jar instead..

i'm trying to spawn two more pairs. already on their 2nd day. no success yet. bbs is really troublesome btw. need to wait for 24 hours until they hatched.

but cant use it too often. Mr. Hasnal said that the betta wont have ventral fin if i'm not mistaken, if we use microworm only.
