how big is your tank ? if it's 3ft or 2ft i think you need not to change the water until they were about 1 inch in size

ermm my red spawn ..

1.put in the breeding pair on a 40cm X 25cm plastic tupperware filled with 10cm of water, add 1-2 drop of nika general aid to prevent fungus attack and ketapang.
2.leave them in the bowl for 1-2 day for the male to prep it's nest. (jar the female with chimney made from 100plus bottle)
3. once you see the nest is ready, then release the female around 8pm
4. they start to dance then embrace within the next 10 min and last about 3-4 hours until the female eggs supply depleted then take out the female
5. wait for about 36 hour.

*my red only will spawn around 8pm.. i did tried releasing them during day time but no success.

just drop it in and try...i re-spawn same pair after 3 weeks...can see alot of eggs now..

at list one of my super big is still around hahah hope is a male
looks like by year end only can tell the color what a long time to wait!

hahaa yeah i also think it's weird maybe due to the dim lighting perhaps

erm, light body fish can see through wan.. so u can see got egg or not using light/LED.. while dragon i guess u will see their tummy bcum very big.. i also not very sure.. sometime overfeed will look big tummy also..
