Not really,if Asian set,u can update to 2.42 and create a new PSN.U can download the 2.42 update file from forum,copy it to a pendrive and plug to ur PS3 for update,which is much much faster then u update online.

just to add,they also have a shop in Ikano(opposite popular) and further down from TGV(behind TGV) after the other game shop(i think dream games is situated in the middle of the 2 con shops)

I really have no idea for that.
Initially as i know SonyStyle won't selling console only. Only bundle is available. I think the bundle is kinda hot therefore i think they will remain to have the bundle.

Feel free to call up any of the outlet to ask.
