Well I bought this stand about 5 months ago and loved it from day one. I own a Jackson Randy Rhoads Pro issue which was over a grand just for the guitar alone and it looks great on it. Now I am reading other peoples reviews and notice they are talking about the finish coming off their headstocks and when I read those I ran to my guitar and saw the same DAMN thing! DO NOT GET THIS STAND if you care about your guitar. Who is going to pay for everybodys tainted guitars??????? The foam damages your guitar so dont get it! LIARS!!!!!

If you have a guitar and you DON'T want the finish damaged, then DO NOT BUY THIS STAND!!! I got this stand on Monday March 7, 2005 at 5 p.m., put my vintage '85 G&L L2000 bass in it and let it hang over night. It did look really good in the stand I have to admit. But to my shock, the next day when I picked up the bass to play it, the finish had been completely burned off on both sides of the headstock where it had been hanging in the stand. I mean the glossy finish was completely burned off! Looked almost like someone had put a cigarette lighter to it. The manufacturer says its "specially formulated foam" or SFF is safe for all guitar finishes. That claim is definitely NOT TRUE. If you want to protect your guitar's finish, then don't put it in this stand!

Quality:
I would have given it a "10." It's well made except for the SFF foam that WILL DAMAGE YOUR GUITAR'S FINISH!!! Since it damaged mine after less than one day of use, I'm giving it a "1" for WORST.

i myself am using the triple one and rustreaver is using a single one if im not mistaken. its a really good stand imo, worth your money
its very solid and ignore the review about the foam. it won't damage the finish of your guitar. i can vouch for that because i've been hanging 3 guitars on that that stand and all the finishes are not damaged

Never bother to have one lol, just simply throw at a corner, i mean put.

how much u buy? but that stand is for electric guitar wor.. mine is acoustic nia.. can or not? 

so u are saying it's better for me to get the hercules stands instead of the plain stand,

Well, the guitars that I hung up are doing ok so far. Been about 2 years plus since I hung them up.

to TS...why not u top up abit more and get a hardcase...
then u can just put the hardcase in a corner and easily open it up to take out the guitar...
thats what i usually do anyway.

Ever considered a guitar hanger instead?It takes lesser space than a stand,and it's also better than stands.I've heard that stands will bend the neck after sometime.

ofcourse CAn fit  with the stagg guitar stand, tripod SGA100BK have neck strip to hold it on the guitar neck,  the SGA108BK cradling hooks can hold more securely under the guitar, both had its own characteristic..lol

that depends mostly on the buyers. However the one doest have neck r more stable. it also depends on wat instrumwnt u wanna put, bass or tripod. if heavy such as bass, the one without neck is my recommendation. if u wanna hold the neck, take the one with neckstrip ...ofcourse
