But the thing I'm quite puzzled is... based on the synthetic test of frostytech, the Xigmatek which cost 1/2 slightly edges over the Noctua  hmm.gif

if u not going for heavy OC, just stick with the cheap one, the celcius different wont be huge

Was advised to get the Gemini Spire instead of the Xigmatek DK, but based on frostytech.com the DK seem to have better performance... but if look at the HSF design, the Spire Gemini has dual fan, 6 heat pipes! But somehow performance not as good as the DK?

unqeualtek, what kind of temp are you getting on your Spire? idle vs full load.

I OCed my 2500k to 4.2ghz at 1.24v, idle around 34c full load max around 75c

If I were to overclock i5 3570k to 4.5ghz for 24/7 with MSI Z77 board, suggest any good air cooler? Is Hyper 212 EVO more than enough?

hyper 212 evo + 2x arctic f12 pwm fan
good enough to OC to 4.5ghz

I see. Can you give me a link of the fans you mentioned? Can't I use the stock fan + one of the fans u mention? Or must it be 2?
