QUOTE(Bonchi @ Feb 14 2009, 02:12 AM) XMP whats that?....extreme memory profile?...if its that..i didnt use it coz i set everything manually in the bios....i presume it should be better than the auto ones....coz i dont want it to be too slow or too fast...1085mhz with 5-5-5-15 is just nice for me i dont wanna exceed 2.1v as it would void the warranty (according to corsair site) thats why...and also..mine was put as standard yes it those thing. but dont know if it really work with an overclocked system.

QUOTE(tot31 @ Mar 5 2009, 12:37 AM) 5C drop is really worth it to do the lapping. sadly that only apply on Prime..........LinX temp stayed at the same level..........i think its maybe bcoz the last time i run it.........it was on the 32bit os and now im running it on 64bit os. but all and all im happy. Added on March 5, 2009, 12:40 amQUOTE(ham_revilo @ Mar 5 2009, 12:38 AM) lapping proc imo its dangerous to use the wet method. if a small drop of water slip into the circuit and not was not dried properly then you will end up with a dead prob i use the wet method on the heatsink otherwise the friction will always make the sand paper im using slipped. its either that or my tape wasnt 'spidey' enough. QUOTE(dro @ Mar 10 2009, 01:04 PM) the basic of tightening bolts is doing it in a cross action letsay ur bolts are placed at 1-4-7-11 (clock position) so u start by tightening 1>7>11>4 tight it loosely on the 1st round then only you tighten it properly once everything is in place this can avoid flexing that is the way i do it with my Hyper 212.
