nola...it wont bocor so easily la... the bocor ones are for those who are impatient tongue.gif

changing fan gievs u alot of noise...

if i use s1283 wit d fan blowing down to d NB
can it cool it down to?
yes i am aware its blowing hot air to it
bt my current proc is not dat hot
im actually running it passive wit temps around 38'c in between idle and minor loads

LOL, same. When I put my arm after the CCF, practically can't feel any wind movement if the top exhaust are stopped. I think the top exhaust of my setup helped on the airflow.

ive have tried pushing and pulling config for cpu airflow on my HR-01

seems that it is more better using pulling compare to pushing

1-2c drops compare to pushing rclxms.gif rclxms.gif

I am no where that temperature cry.gif cry.gif . @1.3vcore, my temperature running IBT already touching 80c. @1.4vcore, temperature already break the 80c limit.. cry.gif cry.gif

for dis kind of kind HDT heatsinks , ur method of applying TIM will definitely affect ur temp alot. most ppl here put on their heatsink base, but i put on the proc and spread it abit. i read the tuniq tx-2 description it says non electrically conducive, so overuse abit also i think its ok. maybe tkh just lucky enuf to get a good chip biggrin.gif or u raise ur VTT so tht u can lower ur vcore, thts wat i do.but since urs is a 45nm quad, VTT must not more than 1.45V , thts specificated in intel datasheet for ur proc.

actually the temps were taken during the nite tongue.gif

n all proc have different heat level...thats why i guess...

n k!nex have a good point..... methods of applying TIM oso have impact....
