Hmm what u mean by stain anyway.

If paint of course only paint the copper heatpipe which is used to transfer the heat, then aluminum fins dissipate the heats.

more or less will effect haha, eager to try.

I'm using the Gigabyte EP45-UD3P mobo currently and i am looking for a cooler which will fit in perfectly without any mods or tweaks,as i've heard thr large heatsink on the mobo itself prevent many coolers out there from being installed perfectly  shakehead.gif  shakehead.gif  .the CM Geminii S caught my attention, but i need to confirm wheter it will fit 1st.

and on the other hand recommend me other coolers out thr which can fit perfectly.
*
i always rekomen ppl to go for s1283....cheap and powah drool.gif

@celciuz

if u ur fan slow down, the HS still in cool(check the temp too) thn that is really coz by weak heat transfer between proc and cooper base..

but i blive it is not la.. mayb is sensor prob or software prob... hmm.gif

but u say ur CCF touch with other HS rite, will this make ur CCF not enuf tight with the proc?

if possible try post here some photos how u say the other sink(NB+GC HS) is touching ur CCF...
*
pictar and results pls drool.gif

QUOTE(celciuz @ Dec 30 2008, 06:17 AM)
My CCF no longer touching the northbridge heatsink. I didn't force it in back then but went to face top instead to avoid lor. Now I changed the orientation of the northbridge heatsink because one of the sides was higher than the other. Now enough clearance without any contacts.

Blur pic, but can see there's no contact at all this time

Oh in case your misunderstood me earlier, I meant I compared the heat between the other heatsinks.. they felt warm when the temp were around 35-40.. but my CCF one doesn't feel warm even though the temperature showing 35-40 sad.gif.
*
those temp u wont feel anything one la laugh.gif

especially dual-core.... u hardly feel anything until its 5x-6x

take out 4gb of the tracer and stress only the DHX and when the test is finish take out the DHX and stress the tracer.
*
u cant do it that way actually.... different numbers of sticks of ram can give u different stability

QUOTE(Punish @ Jan 8 2009, 03:22 AM)
where can i get this stuff....i7 bracket fro sunbeam ccf...??..and how much..??

Added on January 8, 2009, 8:03 am

ok..tq bro for that usefull advise... but not hav 2 change setting rite?
*
u can try running multiple instance of memtest to try and fully utilise the ram... but seriously, i am clueless on how 8gb works sweat.gif

Added on January 8, 2009, 12:48 pm

owh..okie.. i`ve tried to run multiple of memtest n dunno how to summarize it... rclxub.gif
*
oh ya...forgot to tell u, just stress the rams untill it reaches 100%... after that u shud stop it already cos stressing longer might degrade ur ram.....

dont stress to often with memtest tho...its heavy sweat.gif

really???? sweat.gif
never know that before.

but if the ram is running under manufacturer recommended setting for sure it okay rite???

hard to say....its depending on ur pcb ability to withstand the voltage and i am super noob about those to begin with sweat.gif sweat.gif

QUOTE(hilmiangah @ Jan 8 2009, 07:50 PM)
yes indeed.

is it worth it to get those dominator cooler???

im thinking of getting one but doubt it'll improve my oc result.
*
erm...for cooling the dominator can do the job no worries... but if u wana compare with allngap's one, obviously allngap's gonna be better cos the flow is stronger.... and the result of ur OCing is depending on ur chip actually.... cooling is more like a overheat protection....

QUOTE(Silverfire @ Jan 8 2009, 09:07 PM)
Corsair should consider selling their Dominator heatsinks brows.gif

garage sales ada orang jual as seperate unit mar brows.gif
