Sorry if this has been asked before, but doing a search on the forum turns out 'irrelevant' hits.

Basically looking for a down to earth review of the lycosa, focusing on multiple key presses(previous keyboards had a limit of 3 i believe, before turning up an error), and wear and tear of it(fading keys).

on another note, Ban Leong is only open 9am - 5.30pm on weekdays. Making it inconvenient to redeem the free gifts sad.gif. Might have to take a day off just to get the freebies.

Another Lycosa user here. Certainly looks great, especially if you can get the black and blue light theme going smile.gif

Unfortunately the keys are a little more 'squeaky' when typing, and not as silent as say the newer laptop keys.

lol, Razer's marketing hype would probably be 'Featuring Stealth Keys! The competition won't know what keys you're using, and neither will you!'

Seems Razer's come a long way since their humble boomslang eh smile.gif

What's next? Hope they do a monitor/display of some kind. It'd be interesting to see how Razer would make it a 'gamer monitor'. Ultra high contrast and response time? Glowing Razer logos at the sides?
Or collapsible stand, and handle for easy transport?

Future isn't too far off, since they've already dealt with peripherals, and dabbled into audio.

just to share with you guys the keyboard bag redeemed from the promo:-

the handle has that velcro to keep it together as well

its fairly big, for a keyboard bag. since i'm not gonna lug my keyboard to anywhere, i figured to pack in my laptop smile.gif. It's got some space for documents too! if only it had compartments for stationery as well...

laptop opened up for size comparison. laptop is about 15 inches across, anything bigger and it won't fit into that compartment.

the LAN pack, or mouse cover's pretty bleh. oversized for a handphone, hoping it'd able to fit in an iphone/ipod touch. did'nt bother snapping a pic of it.

hmmm actually prefer the rubber surfaced keys, gives off a different feel to typing.

the one annoyance is that always have to keep nails trimmed, to prevent the keys being damaged prematurely.

if only it was'nt so squeaky, then it would've been perfect.

oh, to lycosa users, there's an update to the razer config software for the lycosa. only remembered one change is the play/pause key does'nt startup WMP, winamp or Itunes anymore.
