i dunno how can they ever do a low cost tarantula.
maybe they should come out with tarantula v2 with removable wrist rest.

the point is not to see the wordings...something like the Das Keyboard.

btw, razer have removed the new keyboards from the links...
seems to be some communication breakdown there...maybe the guy who does the website got fired already so no one to maintain the timer

as for the mirror lycosa.
it possibly may be a lycosa for ppl like me who hate the rubber coating, ie. no irritating rubber on it.
if so i may just get one.

eg. the function keys.

laser inscribed keys doesnt mean they wont fade...just that the letters show clearer when back lighted.

G15 also had issues of key fading before.

tot i mentioned a long time ago to try update mobo bios first?

and the 3/4 secs to switch...on the 2nd or 3rd time or watever time is it also 3/4 secs?

usually probs like this all related to the mobo.

why do u even bother with dpi switching?
thats why razer developed on-the-fly sens.

also wats with sql in ur sig? tot they no more?
i only sorta know one guy that was in there, landaxe.

u must be playing at a extremely extreme high sensitivity.
cos viper, the sensor skips like mad if u move the mouse even remotely fast.
i got irritated at it, went back to my logitech and waited til the DB came out

haiyo...so many posts on that already.
click ur driver icon, see the button got option to set on-the-fly.

once u set that button, u click on it and use ur mouse wheel to scroll thru the sens from 0 to 10 in 0.5 increments, and its in real time.
and of cos u get more control, and can get something in between rather than 400 / 800 / 1800 dpi etc.

for COD4 i dont use it at all, cos i concentrate primary assault.

but for games like ET / BF2 etc, have to use it cos different vehicles etc different sens.

depends what game la.
i would use my CH over BSCE if its a game like UT.
other FPS games BSCE should be able to handle.

nope.
dpi switcher is more accurate to a certain extent, but not faster.
accurate in the sense that u can only have fixed dpi like 400/800...nothing in between...so still needs some adjustment.

with on-the-fly and enough practice, u can flick ur scroll wheel pretty fast to the sens u want.

anyway,i never play ET competitive so dunno wats needed.
but for games like BF2, i rather use on-the-fly...and which isnt often i change anyway.
