But i do observed; frankly most of it just a KIDS play DOTA who's fighting.
they even throw harsh & rude word while playing n even continue making a rude gesture after leaving CC (in which i think could lead to catfight after that).

and sorry, but this occured all the time; some of the player is racist.
which is not a good & healthy play.

just play at home will be more safer, or the one who want leave game at cc, just tell them nicely about ur current situation why u need to leave, so ppl will understand.

Come to taman desa cc and tell anyone tat u nid to leave the game regardless of a emergency,60% for sure someone will stand up and walk past all the pc to find you.If they find u,90% that the person will scold u and start whacking the crap out of u.

that's why i go cc to play lan games with my friends instead of dota. just play from home la

sigh, im getting so tired of reading all these. first of all, before i start. just a small introduction of myself. i started playing DotA ever since version 2.17 till now. i dont support whacking people in public, but neither do i approve of retards spoiling the game. simple as that. personally to me, DotA is a fun game where u sit down with your mates and play, casually and hoping to get some laughs, and before i start my "short essay", ill define what DotA is, maybe thats what majority calls it.

DotA
1. Heavy Co-op team game
2. Spoilers are... bad
3. Malaysian DotA - goodness, no word to define it
4. Just a game =.=

from the term heavy co-op itself, it is definite that DotA welcomes professional or people with good temper and attitude in game. spoiler = GG

to me, out of 10 games played in public, there will be 8 games with leavers. most of them should be early game leavers around 15 minutes, where after being pawned, score shud be around 0 - 4, they will just leave immediately after being killed. my team and i, we always had a laugh and joke on how early there will be leavers, so we just gang up on them and walla, leavers. Basic Clan MyM techniques used. its sad that its so hard for us to just complete and finish one game, sportingly.

at the cafe where i use to hang out, it can be very frustrating even without playing dota. most of the time when its full, you can just hear all the vulgarities, which i prefer to hear in english, other than the term sohai, sei sohai, yada yada bla bla bla. i never knew what sohai is =.= other than direct translation into stupid *****. =)

do leavers deserve to be smacked? personally, nobody deserves to be smacked. its just a game. but then again, its a game that deserves respect to and from other players, hence why it is called e-sports.

try imagining yourself to be a hot tempered player. if a keeper of the light keep trying to spoil your game. example, getting a dagger and boots of travel, blasting to get vision and sight and blinking to unaccessible places and summoning players to him and leaving them there, not once but for the whole game. and best is, the opponents never bothered to kill the KOTL, where he will just walk past by them. does he deserve to be smacked? you be your own judge. i have no comments on that. i was on that KOTL's team, and i can say this for sure. i wish he would just leave my game

if dota is a stupid game, it would not survive time and make it to where it is now, standing at the top of tournament games. its just a matter of attitudes, and nobody loves to be insulted. never fire or shoot anything that will backfire on you. ill just keep quiet and wont type anything other than chat with friends, and neither will i type hero ms, because talking is better than typing. so do i deserve to be smacked for not reporting hero ms? i hope not.

enjoy the game, leavers or not, spoilers or not, always try to finish the game, and lose it sportingly, or win it graciously. that is what i personally believe, in any game, anything that we do, it is just ethics that matters.

p.s. feel free to correct me on any part that i missed out or if im wrong. its just a piece of my thought =)

I quit dota because it was

- too long (45 mins+)
- more leavers especially on gayrena (i miss biru server :[ )
- ah bengs complaining of ks
- new updates (new maps to dl, no final release afaik)

Back in my high school days, me and my friends used to go to mines and play dota at the cc there for at least 5 hours. It was fun back then but its shit now. Good times...good times

The only fighting i see is players boasting who is better lol.

just wanna share my experince

my friends intro dota when dota map in version 4 and i played (sometimes) until version 5 and then i totally stop. One day, i went to cc to played some games and i saw few player waiting other player to join. In my heart says "lets play since u are not played long long time ago". Beside me are 1 of the players. He ask me "do u know who to play", i replied "no, i play for fun". "Dont worry, i give some tips when game start" he replied and the game start. After game start 15+ mins, being a noob, i been target all the time. Yeah i got some tips which are offensive word, kinda cool isn't it?

Of course people will get fed up about leavers. Just think, if we have been playing for 45mins then got a noob just leave. Sure the team will have some more leavers. Wont you get angry? 45mins wasted just like that.
TS, i think you might be the victim that got bashed up before for leaving. lol

If you wanna be a leaver, dont play at cyber cafe for your own safety. Play at home and be a coward. You can leave all you want.

But so far in my experience, mostly all leavers are malay. its nothing personal, just facts.

We do not have to be in a cyber cafe to meet sore losers. I met a immature loser yesterday going by the name of Caribbean.Ks at GG.com. He got pawned like trash then he was unhappy. All me and my friends did was
type "haha" at main chat. Thats all. He went berserk and ask us to come out fight. He wanted to know our number and OBVIOUSLY we gave him a bogus number cause we want to play dota and not get in a fight with a sissy loser like him as we are matured people.

He responded by giving his number which is 0175438322 and ask us to call him out for a fight. I think he is a retard. Only brainless fools would get pawned, get angry and proceed to a fist fight.

So may i remind you that even if you are not at a cyber cafe, there are donkeys who will be pissed when they lose. Like this retart Caribbean.Ks which even gave his number. I repeat : 0175438322
