the papyrus font make me dizzy abit.. changing to other

a) Did you download/install status notifier from Cydia?
b) Where did you place the files?

a) i already DL the status notifier
b) i place it into Library > themes

Which is not working? Calender, the status notifier or both on lockscreen?

Also, try placing the theme files in /private/var/mobile/Library/SummerBoard/Themes. Not sure if this works but give it a try.
