No prob mate. Just relax next time if you face a problem. There's always a solution provided by forumers if we know how to overcome those errors.

Also..It's always good to try things on your own and learn from mistakes just as you have learned to backup first before overiding a file. We all learn the hard way by experimenting first before we ask on how to go about things.

Continue theming and personalize your iPhone. There's heaps of stuff you can mod.

Need advice on Winterboard compatibility with iPhone OS 3.0. I jailbroke my iPhone 3g using redsnow 0.8 yesterday and installed Winterboard via Cydia. However, everytime i quit Winterboard, my phone would hang and get stuck. Each time i restart it it would just hang permanantly at the loading screen with the apple logo. i've restored, jailbroke my phone a total of 5 times and each time i use winterboard the same problem would happen. However i've not faced any problem with winterboard on my iPod touch 2g FW 2.2.1.
Any advice? if this post should not be here, please tell me where i should post it!

Update the Mobile Substrate via Cydia. That should help kinks all the bugs..i hope. Current Mobile Substrate version 0.92976-1

Also..Updates all essential programs when Cydia prompts for the upgrade.

just Checked, Cydia does not prompt me for any update/upgrade. Do i have to manually update Cydia or mobile substrate? If so how?
The only version of Winterboard i can download from Cydia is is 0.9.2958.

The Winterboard version is correct if you have installed it.

Try enabling one theme at a time and see how things run.

Just reinstalled Winterboard. After installing winterboard from Cydia, it rebotted the device. Now my iphone just hangs at the startup screen(the one with the Apple logo). Any idea? i havent opened Winterboard nor selected any themes yet.
Also, any way i can restore my iPhone without wiping it again?

That's not a very good sign mate. I'm afraid that the only option is restore again.

Make sure the next time you start Cydia, upgrade all the eseential updates and then install Winterboard.

Yesterday just manage to 'enjoy' this Winterboard features....hihihi (really newbie)...

Got few Q (in the mean time i'll try to search whether got existing answer or not).
1. Why there is no "TelephonyUI.framework" folder? i just found "UIKit.framework" either in the theme folder or another file that i can't remember. I want to change my slider.
2. Before i install the weather widgit. The lockscreen & battery display was ok. But after install (already sort under the theme in the winterboard), no more lockscreen or battery but everything else are ok. IINM the lockscreen is put under the theme right. Just that the battery files are put under SpringBoard.app.
3. I'm using the Macbook theme from here:-

but seems that the SMS background not appear(the file is there). Anyway to solve this?

Just left with prob no.2 & no. 3...

The SMS background (ecen the chat bubbles) will not be theme becoz the file path have been change in fw 3.0. I can only find the chat bubbles but not the SMS backgound path.

As for your Q2, I don't understand what are you facing. A screen shot or sample of the file would help.

ok my problem is.....
when i use d calender widget on my lockscreen.... d lockscreen wallpaper doesnot appear. d wallpaper only will appear when call in n out.
when i disable d calender widget..then d wallpaper will appear in d lockscreen. i think DavidGary is facing d similar problem as well....
